What is an anti-adblock script?
It is a small piece of JavaScript you add to your site. It detects, in the visitor's browser, whether an ad blocker is hiding your ads, and then reacts, usually by showing a message that asks the visitor to allow ads so they can keep browsing. It does not serve ads itself; it sits next to your existing ad setup and recovers the impressions blockers were costing you.
Is there a free anti-adblock script?
Yes. AntiAdBlock Core is free up to 10,000 detections per month, permanently, with no card required. You get the full detector and the recovery message on the free tier, which is enough to measure your real ad-block rate before paying anything. Free copy-paste scripts from GitHub exist too, but they detect a shrinking share of blockers and go stale silently as filter lists update.
Does the script work on Chrome and uBlock Origin Lite (Manifest V3)?
Yes. Manifest V3 blockers like uBlock Origin Lite block at the network layer and leave almost none of the signals a classic bait script looks for, so most old scripts miss them. Our script reads the signals that survive MV3 and keeps detecting uBlock Origin Lite, along with Brave Shields, across Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
Can I add it to Blogger or WordPress?
Yes. On Blogger you paste the tag into the theme HTML before </head>; on WordPress you use your theme's header, a headers plugin, or a tag manager. Anywhere you can add a script tag to the page head, the script runs, and it is domain-locked so it only works on the site you registered.
Why not just copy a free script from GitHub?
A public, copy-paste script has a fixed signature, so filter-list maintainers add a rule and it stops detecting anything, usually without a single visible error. Keeping a homemade detector accurate means tracking daily filter-list changes and every browser update yourself. Our script moves that maintenance to us: one line of code, kept current for you.
Will the script slow down my site?
No. It loads asynchronously, so it never blocks your page from rendering, and it runs after the content is on screen. It adds no measurable weight to your core content and ignores crawlers by default.
