Refund Policy
Last updated: 16 May 2026
This Refund Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and explains when a subscription to AntiAdBlock Core can and cannot be refunded. Payments are processed by Paddle.com (Merchant of Record); approved refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method.
1. 14-day window on a first subscription
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on your FIRST subscription payment. You may request a full refund within 14 days of that first payment.
This window applies only to the first paid subscription on an account. It does not apply to renewals, upgrades, or any subsequent subscription.
2. The window is forfeited once the Service is materially used
By subscribing and activating the Service you give your express consent to immediate performance and you acknowledge that the 14-day right of withdrawal is LOST once the Service has been materially used. The Service is treated as materially used when ANY of the following has occurred:
• the detection script has been served on a live, verified domain; or • one or more detection events have been recorded for your account; or • your account has consumed more than 1,000 monthly requests; or • a paid-tier customization (custom colour, logo or message) has been applied to a Site.
This condition is what makes the 14-day window meaningful only as a genuine trial safeguard: it prevents using the full paid Service and then reclaiming the payment.
3. Renewals are non-refundable
Subscription renewals are billed in advance and are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the current paid period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused time within a period.
4. Cases that are never grounds for a refund
The following do not entitle you to a refund of an already-paid period: you stopped using the Service, you forgot to cancel before a renewal, your own website was taken down, paused or shut down, your traffic dropped, you exceeded your plan quota, a particular ad blocker was not detected in your environment, a change in browser or ad-blocker behaviour reduced detection, or you simply changed your mind after materially using the Service.
5. Plan changes
Upgrading takes effect immediately for the new billing cycle; we do not retroactively refund the previous plan. Downgrading takes effect at the next renewal; the price difference for the current period is not refunded.
6. Service failure on our side
If the Service is materially unavailable for an extended period due to a fault on our side, contact support; we will work with you in good faith on a fair remedy, which may include a service credit or a partial refund at our discretion. This is separate from the trial window in section 1.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a payment dispute; most issues are resolved quickly. Opening a chargeback instead of requesting a refund through us or Paddle may result in immediate termination of your account and the served scripts ceasing to function.
8. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the address on your account, with your order reference. Eligible refunds are normally processed within 5–10 business days by Paddle to your original payment method.
