Ad revenue recovery

Recover the ad revenue ad blockers cost you

Recovery is the default mode. The script detects every major blocker, then a customizable overlay asks blocked visitors, politely, to allow ads. A live dashboard measures how many come back and what it is worth. On every plan, free to start.

How recovery actually works

Ask, don't wall

A blocked visitor sees a clean overlay asking them to allow ads, with your colors, logo and message on paid plans. It is a request, not a hard paywall, so you keep the reader and the goodwill.

An honest recovery rate

Two numbers, not one: raw recovery across all detections, and adjusted recovery across the ones that can actually convert. You always know which figure you are reading.

Know who is blocking you

Every detection is sorted by type: browser extension, Brave Shields, built-in browser protection, or network and DNS filtering. Network blocks can't be turned off in one click, so they stay out of your adjusted rate instead of flattering it.

Revenue you can see

Set your effective CPM and the dashboard turns recoveries into estimated revenue, per site and per day. The number moves as your overlay copy improves.

Three steps, one script tag

1

Detect

The multi-signal engine confirms the ad blocker across DOM, network and CSS probes, MV3 blockers included.

2

Ask

A customizable overlay asks the blocked visitor to allow ads and reload. No tracking cookies, no fingerprinting.

3

Measure

The dashboard tracks detections, recoveries and estimated revenue, per site and per day.

Prefer the raw signal?

If you would rather handle blocked visitors in your own code instead of showing our overlay, the Detection API hands you the result headless. Same engine, no overlay.

Ad revenue recovery FAQ

What is recovery mode?

It is the default way AntiAdBlock Core runs. It detects ad blockers and shows a customizable overlay that asks blocked visitors to allow ads, then tracks how many do. Detection, the overlay and the analytics come in one script tag.

Is it a paywall?

No. The overlay is a polite request to allow ads, not a lock on your content. You choose the copy and how insistent it is, and blocked visitors can keep reading. Nothing about it charges the reader.

How is the recovery rate calculated?

A recovery is counted when a detected ad-block visitor allows ads after seeing the overlay, measured over a 48-hour window. Raw recovery is over all detections; adjusted recovery is over the detections that can actually convert.

What about DNS and network-level blocking?

Those visitors are blocking outside the browser, often with a DNS filter or at the carrier, and usually cannot switch it off in one click. We classify them separately and keep them out of the adjusted recovery rate, so your number reflects what you can really win back.

Which plans include recovery?

Every plan, including Free. Paid plans add overlay customization: brand color on Pro, your logo and full message editing on Max, and everything plus dedicated support on Business.
